KUWAIT: Kuwait International Bank’s cricket team recently won their match against Gulf Bank in the AUB Trophy tournament, scoring the victory by 26 runs. After winning the toss, KIB opted to bat first, scoring 124 runs in their allotted 20 overs. KIB’s Mohammed Rilwan was a highlight of the game, scoring 33 runs, and earning the title “Man of the Match” for his all-rounder performance.

While defending the target of 125 runs, KIB bowlers exerted pressure on Gulf Bank from the beginning and played with confidence and a fierce competitive spirit. KIB’s Manoj Mishra proved to be the star bowler, grabbing 4 wickets. The rest of the team bowlers played an equally impressive game, with Mohammed Ziyauddin taking 2 wickets, and Sheraz Siddiqi and Mohammed Rilwan taking one wicket each. The bowlers were well supported by the team’s fielders, who succeeded in making two remarkable speedy catches. Congratulating the team on their win, the KIB’s Management wished the cricket team plenty of more victories to follow in their upcoming games of the season.
