Talk is cheap and goes uncharged; otherwise silence would prevail in all societies and we would see zero liars amongst us, not because they are afraid of losing somebody, but rather because they would not like to lose a single dime. We would also stop hearing statements made by some hotshots. Everybody would wish they had a giraffe neck to avoid saying something prematurely; for which they would immediately or later be charged and fined.

According to my humble memory, Kuwaitis were the first to use the phrase 'We Will Never Forget' which was used along with yellow ribbon to promote the idea of not forgetting Kuwait's prisoners of war and missing people during the Iraqi invasion. We used to emphasize that we will never forget, but what really happened is that, except for the families of missing citizens, others have long forgotten that experience, though some prefer living with good or bad memories.

We usually reminisce on good memories and feel sad remembering the good old days, at the same time we also remember bad ones and thank Almighty Allah to get us through them safely. We all remember what had been plotted against Kuwait during the 'Arab Spring Revolutions' and those who supported such calls in the media and social networks. If it was not for Allah's grace and our leadership's wisdom, we would have gone through what others have been experiencing.

I really find it hard to respect any of those who forgot the words said against Kuwait by some GCC nationals. I can only compare them with flies that forget that a man tried to kill them within three seconds of the previous try. I do not care if this angers you even if you were the 'king of flies.' - Translated by Kuwait Times from Al-Anbaa
