KUWAIT: Secretary General of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Obaid Al-Osaimi opened the Shotgun and Rifle referees courses, organized by Kuwait Shooting Federation (KSF) under the Umbrella of International Shooting Federation (ISSF). The courses are within the preparations for the start of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Seventh International Shooting Grand Prix.

Al-Osaimi welcomed International Lecture, Member of ISF Technical Committee, President of Egypt and African Shooting Federation Hazim Hosny, as well as 38 participants from Bahrain, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kuwait.

He also welcomed ISSF technical committee member Loannis Heracleous who lectured on shotgun license (B) referees. The shotgun course has 35 referees from Bahrain, Lebanon, Mongolia and Kuwait.

Al-Osaimi urged all participating referees to take advantage and benefit from the courses being held under the umbrella of ISSF which qualifies them to receive an international referee license and can represent their countries in any events sponsored by the ISSF.

Al-Osaimi said Kuwait Shooting Federation does not spare any effort to present the best and meet the needs of its shooters and administrators in order to maintain the achievements already made and keep Kuwait's name in prominence.

International lecturer Hazim Hosny thanked President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi, and Secretary General Obaid Al-Osaimi for their efforts and support in service of the sport of shooting in Arabia and Asia.

He said he is happy to be in Kuwait, the pioneer in the sport of shooting at many levels.
