KSRS organizes 'Kuwait to Jerusalem' marathon

KUWAIT: Kuwait Social Reform Society (KSRS), in cooperation with the Youth for Jerusalem Society, Jerusalem Forum in addition to official and social establishments organized the first six kilometers Marathon on Jaber Bridge under the slogan from "Kuwait to Jerusalem", on the occasion of the world solidarity day with the Palestinian people, and loyalty to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, to confirm solidarity with Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa mosque.

The marathon started at 9 am in an enthusiastic atmosphere. KSRS Secretary General Yaqoub Al-Ansari said many of the various age groups participated with a total of 1,500 participants, and this reflected the status of Palestine in all.

He said Kuwait's official and popular support of the Palestinian cause in all arenas, and thanked all those who worked for the success of the marathon including the interior and health ministries in addition to Kuwait Municipality and Roads Authority.
