Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi

KUWAIT: President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi thanked, on behalf the Kuwait Shooting Sport Club (KSSC) board of directors HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the government for their care, encouragement and support of shooters, which took them to Olympic and international achievements that we all are proud off.

Al-Otaibi said KSSC is happy to conclude its season with the tournament of late Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, thanking the family of the late Sheikh for continuing to support this annual event.

Eng Al-Otaibi said the honorary president of KSSC Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah laid down the foundations that placed Kuwait shooting on the rights tracks and took it to success, and he is still giving advice and encourage shooters to exert more efforts towards making more achievements in the name of Kuwait.

Engineer Duaij Al-Otaibi said, as we conclude our season, we are proud of the achievements of Kuwait Shooting and the new records our shooters made both locally and internationally, adding that the Asian Championship that was held in Kazakhstan was a bright moment among the achievements and Kuwait won the first mixed competition gold medal through shooters Abdelrahman Al-Faihan and Sarah Al-Awal, who compared with very well established shooters around the world.

Al-Otaibi said the shooting community appreciates the support HH the Amir is giving to shooters, and the construction of the Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex.
