KUWAIT: Kuwait Airways Saturday denied media reports that it was launching new routes. The national carrier posted a message on its Twitter account saying that it only posts reports about any new routes through its official media accounts. It urged social media users to be careful about reporting unconfirmed reports. Meanwhile, Kuwait Airways said in a statement it has 39 routes in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. It said it planned to operate new routes to Vienna, Austria, and Munich, Germany, in coming summer. Kuwait Airways was established in 1953 and become fully owned by the government in 1962. – KUNA
