MADRID: Kuwait's Ambassador to Spain Khalifa Al-Kharafi presented his credentials to King Felipe VI on Friday. Speaking after a ceremony held on the occasion at the Royal Palace in Madrid, Ambassador Al-Kharafi said he had conveyed to the King, the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Both the ambassador and the Spanish king went on to review the distinguished bilateral relations binding the two nations, and means to bolster these ties for the benefit of their people. In turn, King Felipe returned the gesture, applauding diplomatic relations that stretch far back for over 60 years. The ambassador was accompanied at the event by the embassy's First Secretary Mohammad Al-Shahoumi and Diplomatic Attache Lulwa Al-Dosari.
