KUWAIT: Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Minister of Information Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah said the two ministries fully support the efforts of the Public Anti-Corruption Authority (PACA). It is very important to have a specialized body that can protect society against corruption and bring awareness on the matter, Sheikh Salman said yesterday on the sidelines of a ceremony to sign two memorandums of understanding (MoU) between the ministries and PACA.

Meanwhile, PACA Chairman Abdulrahman Al-Nemash noted that the memorandums aim to create coordination between the authority and the media to spread awareness on the dangers of corruption and ways to prevent it. “Cooperation between these bodies include producing radio and TV programs, organizing workshops and training courses for employees in the field,” he said. — KUNA
