KUWAIT: Kuwait National Triathlon team’s outstanding performance at the Asian Triathlon Championship in Manama pushed them to the top. Abdelaziz Al-Duaij ended in first place (overall), while Huda Al-Saleh took second; Noura Al-Barrak (third). In the age groups, Abdelaziz Al-Huwaidi won the 16-29 years competition while Hussain took first in the 30-39 Category. Abdallah Al-Asfour secured the second position (for men) as Dalal Al-Rayes won the same for women.

Chairman of the Board of Kuwait Triathlon Federation and Club, Rashid Al-Kandary congratulated the players, technical and administrative departments for this significant achievement and commended the athletes. He said the Club is keen on participating in such events and seek top places where ever the event is held. Meanwhile, Kuwait National Team Triathlon member Usama Burahma withdrew from the competition in the Professionals Category due the presence of an athlete from the Zionist entity.
