Kuwait bans UAE street racing film

KUWAIT: Kuwait has banned an Emirati street facing film without explanation. ‘Hajwala’, a UAE-produced drama set in the underground world of Khaleeji street racing will not be allowed to be shown in Kuwait despite being shown elsewhere across the Gulf.

The film was directed by Ali Bin Matar and Ebrahim Bin Mohammad and show in the UAE, mostly in Ral Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi. It will be in Arabic with English subtitles
