Kuwait beats Iran 32-27 in Qatar int'l handball tourney

DOHA: Kuwait beat their Iranian rivals by 32-27 in the international handball men's tournament held in Qatar. Kuwait outshone their Iranian counterparts in the first half of the game, finishing it by a 16-12 score. The second half continued almost the same with Kuwait snatching the win.

Kuwait will face Saudi Arabia Saturday in the tournament held on November 2-6. The tournament is held prior to the 20th Asian handball tournament scheduled in Saudi Arabia to be played on January 18-31. The event will qualify winning teams to the 2023 world tournament in Poland and Sweden. - KUNA
