Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry on Saturday condemned the attack on the Qatari embassy building in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

The ministry was alluding to the incident, where a group of gunmen burst into the diplomatic mission's building and vandalized it.

In a statement, the department affirmed utter rejection of all forms of violence and sabotage targeting offices of the diplomatic missions in Sudan that constitute blatant violation of the international law and the 1961 Vienna treaty.

It renewed the call upon the official authorities and all stakeholders in Sudan to take immediate action and provide full security for the buildings of the missions, safeguard the personnel and punish the perpetrators.
