KUWAIT: His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Seif Palace yesterday National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem. His Highness the Deputy Amir and the Crown Prince also hosted His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. He also received Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh and Foreign Minister and Acting Defense Minister Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated, in two separate cables, UAE's Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al-Maktoum, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Finance Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashed Al-Maktoum on latter's return from a treatment trip. His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables.

In the meantime, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince sent a cable of condolences to US President Donald Trump over the victims of the wildfires that hit several areas in the west coast. His Highness the Prime Minister sent a similar cable to President Trump. Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf sent a cable of condolences to Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi on victims of a gold mine collapse in the town of Kamituga in South Kivu province following heavy rains in the eastern region.

In the cable, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince expressed wishes for speedy recovery and good health for the victims. He has also wished success for the Congolese officials in coping with the catastrophic accident. His Highness the Prime Minister sent a similar cable. - KUNA
