Shafi-Al-HajiriKUWAIT: Kuwait Disabled Sports Club has said Kuwait Disabled Athletics National Team member Ahmad Naqa Al-Mutairi won the Swiss Disabled Athletics tournament in Switzerland in the 100 meter and 400 meter wheel chair running in the T33 category, winning two gold medals.

Club President Shafi Al-Hajiri said the win is considered a continuation of the players outstanding achievements, who won three gold medals and set a new world record in the Grand Prix competition that was held in Switzerland earlier this year. Naqa is the winner of the world cup that was held in Qatar last December.

Al-Hajiri lauded the distinguished performance of Al-Mutairi in the two tournaments and said that the victories will be a good preparation for the paralympics next September in Brazil. Al-Hajiri appreciated the generous support of Kuwaiti businessman Bader Al-Otaibi for supporting players Ahmad Naqa Al-Mutairi and Hamad Al- Adwani by paying $10,000 for each player.
