KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah extended his deepest condolences on Tuesday over the victims of a bus crash near the Egyptian city of Minya, which left scores of people either dead or injured. His Highness the Amir expressed his commiserations in a cable he sent to Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi, in which he wished a swift recovery for those wounded in the tragic incident. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to the Egyptian president.

The State of Kuwait expressed sorrow over the bus accident, which resulted in the death of several people in Minya Province in southern Egypt, said the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry in a statement Tuesday. In the statement, the ministry expressed deepest condolences to the Egyptian leadership, government, people and to the victims' families, wishing speedy recovery to the injured.
