History was written on November 23, 2015 when Kuwait Fashion Week was inaugurated at the Symphony Style Hotel under the patronage of Sheikha Bashayer Nayef Jaber Al-Sabah and Sponsored by Merrill Lynch International . The founder and concept brain behind this Premier sensation is Rabab Hamadi, a fashion consultant evangelist who pulled off in spite of local hurdles and pain stricken challenges, the unbelievable, Kuwait's very own Fashion Week.

This is a nod of recognition and admiration to the courageous women of the Gulf and Rabab being one of these aspiring profiles has worked over 15 years in the biggest fashion houses of Kuwait and Beirut.

Her dream was to achieve a quantum leap in Kuwait's fashion world. Motivated by this dream, the idea to establish a fashion week in Kuwait on par with the International fashion weeks finally materialised.

The geniuses that showcased at KFW for three consecutive days are: Gossaci (Alaa Saad El-Deen), TM Fashion Group (Tareq Ediz), Atelier Lab, (Nizar Romani), and Atelier Lioness (Elie Abou Mrad, Fadi Seklawi, Patrik Basil), Saied Qubaisi, Haya Al-Bughali, Anfal Al-Saleh, (Juliette N White) Safi Rabah, Hair and make-up was the first day by Ilham Shalabi and Salons Brigitte showcased the latest beauty trends for hair and makeup and also beatified the models the second day of the event.

The Models were flown in from Paris and to keep them healthy and energised they were delivered daily Diet Care lunch boxes. The brand Diet Care is the leading certified health care provider for nutritional food in Kuwait and is awarded as Kuwaiti's Super brand.
