After huge fashion events held recently in New York, Paris and Milan where designers showcased their fall/winter 2016 designs, the Kuwait Fashion Week kicks off next Monday, November 23, featuring the biggest fashion houses and elite designers from Kuwait and the Arab World who will showcase a brand new selection of creative designs in an unprecedented event in Kuwait.

The three-day event, organized by Merril Lynch under the patronage of Sheikha Bashayer Nayef Jaber Al-Sabah, takes place from the 23rd to the 25th of November at Symphony Style Hotel, becoming a stable in the calendar of main fashion weeks in the world.

Commenting on this event, Sheikha Bashayer Nayef Jaber Al-Sabah says: "This international event will have a deep impact on Kuwait's fashion industry. It is well-known that Kuwaiti women are always keen on carefully selecting their apparel, and standing out in their choices of unique dresses from local and international fashion houses, especially that the Kuwaiti woman is known for being well up-to-date with fashion."

Kuwait Fashion Week's organizing committee is keen on organizing the event on par with the same standards of famous fashion weeks in Paris, London and Milan," she added.

"Kuwait has always been a pioneer in fashion in the Gulf region, and we believe that Kuwait is capable of participating in the fashion industry, and even becoming a fashion exporter," she said.
