Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah participated in a ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and British Foreign Secretary, held on sidelines of the 77th session of UN General Assembly last night.

Sheikh Dr Ahmad reiterated to the British top diplomat deepest condolences of the State of Kuwait and its people for the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II.

He also extended the Kuwaiti leadership best wishes for King Charles III for ascending to the throne as King of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

The meeting touched upon historic relations between the six GCC countries and the United Kingdom, as well as means of further cementing strategic partnership and coopoeration in political, security and economic domains with the objective of achieving peace, stability and progress. - KUNA
