KUWAIT: In an important match between Jahra and Sulaibkhat to improve their status in the ranking phase of the Kuwait Football League, both teams failed to score, and came out with one point each in the 10th round of the league. Activities during most of the match were at midfield though Jahra had much ball possession. Jahra ended with 11 points while Sulaibkhat grabbed 5 points.

In another match, Kuwait had control in their match with Fahaheel despite the fact that the match remained scoreless until the 90th minute when Kuwait's Fahad Humoud scored the lonely goal which gave Kuwait three points - raising their total points to 15 while Fahaheel remained at 10.



Kuwait has an attacking plan - sending Ahmad Al-Akaishi up front with support from Ahmad Hizam, Ahmad Al-Zanki and Jay Dembly. Kuwait attempted a different strategy in the second half and made several substitutions but were not able to score until the final minute when Fahad Humoud was able to head the ball into the net from a corner kick as the match ended 1-0.

A third match between Qadisiya and Yarmouk ended in a 3-3 draw. Yarmouk's Udai Al-Dabbagh, who previously played for Qadisiya, scored in the 23rd minute of the match, while Wisam Al-Edreesi scored from the penalty spot in the 77th minute. Another goal followed in the 79th minute. Qadisiya was first to score as veteran Saleh Al-Sheikh scored in the 7th minute, Lucas in the 64th and Minwer Al-Mutairi in the 85th. Yammouk remained at the tail end of the list with only two points while Qadisiya grabbed second place with 19 points.
