Kuwait in Group B of Gulf Cup tourney

Baghdad: Draw of the planned Arabian Gulf Football Cup championship put Kuwait in Group B along with Bahrain, the UAE and Qatar.

The official Iraqi television reported that the draw was held at Grand Millennium Hotel in the southern city Basra.

According to the tournament rules, Iraq will chair Group A in its capacity as the host country. Bahrain will lead Group B for holding the champion title.

Group A comprises Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Oman.
