DODOMA: Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tanzania Jassem Al-Najim opens a water well in a village in the country. - KUNA

DODOMA: The Kuwaiti Embassy in Tanzania celebrated the installation of six new water wells in two villages in Tanzania. This takes the total number of Kuwait-funded wells in the African country to 35.

 

The wells are part of the "water well for each school" initiative launched by Kuwait Embassy in Tanzania and funded by a number of Kuwaiti bodies and charities.

 

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tanzania Jassem Al-Najim stressed in a statement yesterday Kuwait's keenness on providing life-saving assistance, education, healthcare, clean water to all countries in need.

 

Najim praised Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS)'s humanitarian actions and continued cooperation with the embassy in Tanzania, which resulted in inaugurating 16 wells in a number of schools in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in collaboration with other Kuwaiti humanitarian bodies. - KUNA
