KUWAIT: Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah yesterday affirmed the deep-rooted cooperation in all fields with the US, especially in the security arena.
Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah made the remark during a meeting with the US Ambassador to Kuwait Lawrence Silverman, accompanied by US Deputy Chief of Mission Larry Memmott, where the two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
Ambassador Silverman praised Kuwait’s vital role in stabilizing security and peacekeeping in the region, expressing his country’s aspiration to continue coordination and cooperation with Kuwait, the statement added. – KUNA
