KUWAIT: The Kuwait Medica Conference & Exhibition, better known as (Kuwait Medica), will kick-start on Wednesday, focusing on cutting-edge medical products and services, said the coordinator on Tuesday. Held under the patronage of Health Minister Dr Ahmad Al-Awadhi, the two-day event will attract representatives from more than 50 public and private bodies, along with local and global hospitals to get familiar with new healthcare products in the medical domain, said Eman Khalaf, the conference's general coordinator, in a press release.

The conference will draw participants from Britain, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jordan and Thailand, she added. The conferees, including experts and specialists, will highlight government bodies' plans for revamping health services and deliver lectures, she pointed out.

Kuwait Medica offers a dedicated platform for global hospitals, medical facilities, equipment and technology suppliers, pharmaceutical companies and hospital management consultancies to present a complete spectrum of healthcare services and processes for use in medical field and to identify potential business opportunities in Kuwaiti and GCC consumer markets. - KUNA
