Kuwait MoH considers regulating abortions

KUWAIT: Health Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for the Private Sector Dr Mohammed Al-Khashti said that the ministry is currently considering amending law number 25/1981 pertaining the practice of medicine.

Khashti added that the articles proposed for amendment include those regulating abortions and the penalties imposed on those violating them, be they doctors or officials at any health facilities. However, Khashti preferred not to go into further details until the study is completed.
