KUWAIT: The National Hockey League competitions for men and women for 2020/2021 season were concluded Monday. The 'Stars' team won the men's league with 39 points, although it lost the final match to 'Falcon' by the score of 8/5. Falcon ended in second place with 33 points and 'camels' grabbed third with 28 points.



In the women's competition - 'Blue Waves' won first place with 30 points; 'Wild Cats' second with 24 points and 'Kuwait Gladiators' took third position with 15 points. Director General of Public Authority for Sports Dr Humoud Fulaiteh congratulated the winners and lauded the success of the Winter Games Club in organizing such local events.

Chairman of the Kuwait Winter Games Fuhaid Al-Ajmi said the game was held in the club's new hall. He said the club will concentrate on preparing Kuwait's national teams (both men and women) in preparation for the Gulf Games to be held in March. Fulaiteh appreciated the sports authority.
