KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuwaiti Kyokushin Karate team is participating in the fourth edition of Malaysia championship that kicked off yesterday with participation of teams from 10 countries.The head of the Kuwaiti expedition, Hassan Al-Kanderi, said in a statement to KUNA that the national team has been fully prepared to partake in the competitions.The Kuwaiti champions, Dhari Al-Enezi (under 85 kg), Abdulah Al-Abdullah (under 75 kg) and Salem Al-Harbi (under 65 kg) will compete in the scheduled encounters, he said.This tournament is preparatory for the world championship due in Uzbekistan in November. Other competing teams represent the host country Malaysia, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan and Nepal.- KUNA
