KUWAIT: The Kuwaiti Health Ministry yesterday dismissed reports on the outbreak of influenza pandemic at Adan Hospital. The ministry said in a press release that reported flu cases fall within expected rates during the periods of weather fluctuations and seasonal changes, reassuring that necessary drugs involving pills and syrup are available at pharmacies and stores. Preventive vaccines against seasonal influenza are also accessible at preventive health centers and vaccination clinics nationwide, according to the release. Urging citizens to use preventive vaccines, the Health Ministry assured that it is closely monitoring the reported cases of seasonal influenza and other pandemics. - KUNA
