Kuwait records six new COVID deaths

KUWAIT: Kuwait recorded 230 new coronavirus cases and six deaths yesterday, raising the total number of cases to 144,599 and deaths to 897. The total number of recoveries reached 140,341 after the health ministry announced that 306 patients have recovered over the same period.

There were 84 patients in ICU as of yesterday, as the total number of patients still receiving medical care reached 3,361, the ministry's official spokesman Dr Abdullah Al-Sanad said. He added that 4,626 swabs were taken during the same period, raising the total number of swabs to 1,146,420. - KUNA
