KUWAIT: Kuwait SC defeated Al-Qadsia 2-0 yesterday in the final showdown of the 57th version of His Highness the Amir Football Cup, thus securing their 14th trophy.

Fahad Al-Hajeri scored both goals as early as at minutes 5 and 25. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the sponsor of the competition, attended the game which was held at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.

Following the match, His Highness the Amir presented the cup to captain of Kuwait SC team Hussein Hakim, the first place medals to the winners and the second place medals to Al-Qadsia players. Khaitan and Burgan players co-chaired the third place medals. - KUNA
