KUWAIT: Kuwait shooter Talal Al-Rashidi won the first place and the cup of the second day of the Grand Mondial Perazzi tournament, he also won second place in the high tech rifle competition.
The final results of the competition saw Russia’s Alipov Alexey win first place, followed by Italy’s Emanuele Bernasconi while Talal Al-Rashidi ended in third place, bearing in mind that more than 600 participants took part in the competition.
Head of Kuwait’s delegation, KSSF board member Eng Hussam Al-Roumi congratulated President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi for this achievement was made possible despite stiff competition from 600 shooters of both genders, yet Talal competed so well and made everyone proud and received appreciation from the Gulf and world delegations.
Al-Roumi thanked Minister of Commerce and Industry, State Minister for Youth Affairs Khalid Al-Roudhan, Director General of Public Authority for Sports Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and his deputies for the support of the shooting sport club, and meeting the club’s needs to prepare shooters and send them to the necessary camps. Al-Roumi wished all Kuwait shooters success in their future competitions.
