KUWAIT: Kuwait shooting ended on top at the conclusion of the Arab shotgun shooting championship, that was held in Rabat, Morocco by winning six gold three silver and three bronze medals.

Kuwait shooters proved they are one-up to the task and worthy of what they have achieved so far and performed as expected from them. The national team won the gold medals of the individual and team double trap, two gold skeet medals by women individual and team, the skeet men individual gold, the team trap gold medal, the silver medals of both men and women, the silver medal of the trap men, bronze medal of both individual and team for women and the individual trap bronze for men, during the championship in which 116 shooters, representing 10 countries participated.

Secretary General of Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Obaid Munahi Al-Osaimi expressed his satisfaction with what Kuwait shooters had achieved, for which the Kuwait Shooting Sport Club board members had worked hard, as well as administrative and technical departments, which enabled the shooters to make such impressive results.

Al-Osaimi on behalf of the president and board members and himself dedicated the achievement to HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who has been supporting the sport of shooting and shooters all along, which gave them the determination to make the achievements in the name of Kuwait where ever they participate.

He also dedicated it to HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and government for their care and support.

He also thanked the Public Authority for Sports and its Director General Dr Humoud Fulaiteh for their support and removing all obstacles Kuwait shooting faces to allow shooters focus on their performance.
