KUWAIT: Kuwait shooters continue to perform excellently at the World Cup Championship in Cyprus as the Trap team (Talal Al-Rashidi, Nasser Al-Miqlid and Abdelrahman Al-Faihan) won the gold medal after a fierce competition with 14 teams from around the world. India took the second position while Poland grabbed third. President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi lauded the achievements of the team.

Al-Otaibi dedicated the victory to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, government and Kuwaiti people. He also commended the efforts the champions. Al-Otaibi thanked the Public Authority for Sport and its Director General Dr Humoud Fulaiteh for the continued support.
