Kuwait Times has been holding successful art competitions such as “Kuwait Beautiful & Green” and “Frontline Heroes of Kuwait” in collaboration with Zain as strategic partner. For years, it has been our desire to allow student artists aged 6-18 to display their talents. Through competitions like this, participants can challenge their artistic skills and figure out diverse ways of interpreting just a few words from the theme.

“Kuwait, Years from Now” is the theme of this year’s art competition. What stories will you be able to tell with pencil and paper? Will events from the past affect how the future progresses? Not only will this competition test one’s imagination, but by participating, students will be able to view other participants’ visions in their work and learn new, unique art styles.

Kuwait Times aims with this competition to not only showcase artistic talent, but also for artists to analyze and appreciate all the different techniques of others. It will allow them to have a broader outlook on their ideas and concepts, because competitions like these provide opportunities for participants to explore original approaches to art concepts.

This competition doesn’t just involve prizes and participation awards. Joining “Kuwait, Years from Now” will also teach students that it isn’t all about winning and losing, but rather more of an experience for those who aspire to advance their art skills.

The art competition started on October 10 and will continue until November 13, 2022, a period of 35 days, allowing participants from government, special needs and private schools enough time to submit their work. During these days, the students can create the best artworks to enter the competition. Students can use any A3-sized drawing sheet. All artworks must be hand drawn and not computer generated. All paintings should be submitted by email to [email protected] in PDF format only, along with the participation form.

All schools and individual students are welcome to participate in this art competition. For more information, you may call us on 24 833199.
