KUWAIT: The Kuwait Youth Council of the Public Authority for Youth on Thursday inaugurated the Kuwait Youth Council platform with the aim of delivering local and international messages through it to coincide with International Youth Day. Representative of the Director General of the Authority, Deputy Director General of the Youth and Support Services Sector Hossam Al-Saleh said in a speech during the press conference to launch the platform that the political leadership, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi fully supports the council.

Deputy Director General of the Entrepreneurship Services Sector at the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Fares Al-Enezi expressed his pride in the council, expressing optimism about it and its contribution to building a new approach and era. Chairman of the Kuwait Youth Council Nawaf Al-Quwaidi called on all young people to visit the platform and benefit from its services in order to work together to discuss and address youth issues to get an opportunity to qualify them through the opportunities that the council will provide.

The platform's designer Hassan Al-Shammari is honored.

Quwaidi explained the state presents the youth of Kuwait at all international events, pointing out that everyone is working with great efforts in order to move forward in achieving Kuwait's 2035 vision and achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, which Kuwait has committed to achieve. Head of the platform committee of Kuwaiti Youth Council Jamila Al-Otaibi said during the conference that we will work hard as a committee to coordinate with experienced persons to urge their support in order to reach the youth segment, according to the slogan of the United Nations this year -Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages so that no one is left behind.

It is worth mentioning that the Kuwaiti Youth Council of the Public Authority for Youth is a youth advisory council concerned with analyzing the reality, needs and potential of young people, enhancing their community participation in expressing their issues and giving recommendations and proposals to decision makers in a smooth, organized and thoughtful manner. - KUNA
