KUWAIT: A Kuwaiti 'couple' was arrested in Hawally with two bottles of whiskey and 40 illicit pills, said security sources. Case papers indicate that after drinking and dancing at an apartment in the area, the couple left to resume dancing and drinking while driving. Noticing the vehicle being driven in an unsteady course, a police patrol stopped it and found the couple highly intoxicated. On searching the vehicle, detectives found the alcohol and drugs.

Dude, where's my car

A shocked citizen reported that on leaving Mubarak Al-Kabeer co-op, he found a vehicle on top of his own, although he had parked in a shaded spot. A woman driving the other car said she had parked on the opposite side and instead of reversing out of the parking space, she accelerated and clambered on the other car.

Robber busted

A citizen wanted for robbery was arrested in Abu Halifa, said security sources, noting that a police patrol suspected the man driving around over and over, and on stopping him, he seemed nervous. On checking on him, detectives found the man was wanted.

Batter up

Three citizens were arrested in Jahra where they were fighting using bats, said security sources, noting that policemen were immediately dispatched to the scene to control them before they were arrested and referred to relevant authorities.
