The Kuwaiti documentary film ‘Threads of Gold’ won first rank in the 19th Arab Radio and TV Festival

The Kuwaiti documentary film "Threads of Gold" won first rank on Sunday night in the 19th Arab Radio and TV Festival held in Tunisia, as part of documentaries on Palestinian cause competition. This came during the closing ceremony of the festival organized under the theme "In Support of Arab Jerusalem." Official at Kuwait Television Talal Al-Haifi in remarks to KUNA expressed his thanks to the festival's organizers. "Threads of Gold" is a documentary prepared by Kuwait youth on the Palestinian cause, and more specificity on the local young fighter Ahed Al-Tamimi, he said. This honoring reflects Kuwait's deep care for Arab vital issues, namely the Palestinian cause, he added.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tunisia Ali Al-Thifiri expressed satisfaction for winning the award. Kuwait is known for its tremendous efforts in media as it won many prizes in previous sessions of the festival, which reflects its sufficiency, the diplomat affirmed. Other countries also won prizes over their remarkable participation with distinguished reports, radio and television programs and documentaries including Iraq, Sudan, Bahrain, Egypt, UAE, Oman, and Palestine.-KUNA
