KUWAIT: Residency detectives have arrested a citizen and two Egyptians for forging bank documents and stealing public funds. Manpower Public Authority received information about a company that won a tender from the Ministry - and part of the conditions is to employ Kuwaiti female security officers. The women were forced to open accounts in a bank, and the company took their ATM cards. The company deposited their salaries in the bank and do withdraw money immediately.

Assistant Undersecretary for Nationality and Passports Affairs Maj Gen sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah ordered the arrest of the suspects. The company manager and accountant, both Egyptian were arrested and they confessed to forcing the female employees to sign bogus receipts to prove to the MPA that they receive their salaries. The company owner was also summoned.
