KUWAIT: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah left to Brussels yesterday to take part in the 'Brussels Conference on Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region,' which takes place today. The conference will discuss means of easing the suffering of Syrians in their country and in neighboring states. It is co-chaired by Kuwait, Germany, Qatar, Norway, the UK, the UN, and the EU.

The event will also discuss progress made since the fourth donors' conference for Syria held in February 2016 in London. Moreover, it will shed light on solutions to end the current war and set a roadmap to follow, once the conflict ends. - KUNA
