KUWAIT: The Arab Women Union said Kuwaiti women have proven their status in the society after Jenan Bushehri and Alia Al-Khaled were elected to Abdullah Al-Salem Hall in the National Assembly. Shatti, who was the master of ceremonies at the event held by members of the Arab Women Union to celebrate the victory of Bushehri and Khaled, said electing the two women reflects the belief of a large group of Kuwait society in the role of the woman and her ability to deliver people's views, particularly women, to both the executive and legislative authorities.
