Kuwaitis continue crossing border from Saudi Arabia

KUWAIT: Kuwaitis cross the borders from Saudi Arabia into Kuwait. – KUNA

KUWAIT: Kuwaiti citizens continued crossing the Nuwaiseeb border from Saudi Arabia for the second day on Wednesday, part of a government repatriation plan to bring back nationals amidst the spread of coronavirus. Citizens passed through the crossing smoothly and in line with instructions of the health authorities, the ministry of interior said in a statement. It said citizens can enter the country through Nuwaiseeb crossing from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, and they would be taken to mandatory quarantine at Khairan Resort. The land repatriation plan began on Tuesday and is set to end on May 20. – KUNA
