President Trump welcomes meeting with Amir at 'appropriate time'

NEW YORK: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Thursday received a telephone call from US President Donald Trump. During the call, Trump reassured about His Highness the Amir's health. His Highness the Amir and President Trump reviewed the distinguished ties between the two countries in light of the close strategic partnership. President Trump welcomed meeting with His Highness the Amir, who is now staying in the US for medical tests, at an appropriate time for His Highness the Amir. Trump wished His Highness the Amir everlasting well-being and good health and Kuwait further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir expressed his great appreciation to President Trump for reassuring about his health. King Abdullah made an enquiry into His Highness the Amir's health, wishing him health and prosperity, and Kuwait, growth and development under His Highness the Amir's wise leadership.
