Kuwait's FIFA Suspension lifted

FIFA has lifted a two-year suspension against Kuwaiti football, announced Gianni Infantino, FIFA president during a visit to Kuwait today. Infantino made the announcement on a video recording posted on the Instagram account of Khaled Al-Roudhan, Minister of Trade and Industry and Acting Minister of Youth Affairs.

On Sunday, the Kuwaiti parliament agreed to amend sports laws in a bid to end a two year suspension of Kuwaiti sports teams by FIFA and the International Olympic Committee.
