DUBAI: Kuwait's Pavilion concluded Thursday its participation in Dubai Expo 2020 after a six-month-long full of various events and activities that gave visitors a glimpse of Kuwaiti rich history and promising future. The Kuwaiti pavilion shed light on how the country is committed to sustainable development to deliver a secure and prosperous future for its economy, environment, cities, and people.

During the past six months, Kuwait's pavilion visitors were able to see how the past meets the present to shape a far-reaching vision for the country's future. Kuwait's pavilion was held in the Sustainability sector, which focused on changing the path humankind on right now with a better alternative and highlighted the impact climate change is having on the planet and solutions on how to tackle it, from solar energy to water conservation.

The global event officially came to an end today, after attracting more than 20 million visitors from across the world. Up to 192 countries took part in this huge event, giving visitors briefings about each country's past, present, and future, where guests have enjoyed the unique architecture, culture, and inspiring innovations. - KUNA
