KUWAIT: A
delegation representing syndicate of public labor unions has discussed with
Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Services Khaled
Al-Roudhan their role in achieving the vision of Kuwait 2035. In a press
statement yesterday, the federation's chairman Hussein Al-Azmi said that
Roudhan affirmed during the meeting their pivotal role in contributing to
implementing the vision of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber
Al-Sabah to make the country a financial and commercial center.

The delegation
discussed with the minister the Kuwaiti workers' movement in general, Azmi
said, indicating that Roudhan expressed his understanding of the fundamental
role played by the unions as a link between workers and officials. Azmi pointed
out that Roudhan stressed on keenness of the government, under chairmanship of
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to
