KUWAIT: Yarmouk’s Sports Club under 19 squash player Jasem Al-Ghareeb won the 16th national squash championship by beating Kheitan’s Club player Qadeer Ghol 3-1 after losing the first set. Al-Ghareeb was able to deal with the match due to his experience and technical abilities.

Ghol ended in second place, while Kheitan’s Abdulrahman Al-Sane was third and Qurain’s Abdulrahman Al-Maghrabi fourth. Results of the general category saw Gadeer Ghol winning first place, Abdulrahman Al-Mughrabi second, Abdulaziz Al-Hashim third, and Abdulrahman Al-Dabbous fourth.

In the under 17 category Abdulrahman Al-Sane defeated Talal Ghol to win first place leaving second place for Talal as third place went for Mahdi Usama and Essa Al-Najadah won fourth. In the under 15 Al-Najadah won first place, Ahmad Ranjeen second, Ziyad Mohammad third and Salman Al-Saleh fourth.

In the under 13 category Abdullah Maayouf was first, Salman Al-Saleh second, Humoud Al-Sawagh third and Fawaz Al-Farsi fourth. In the under 11 category Fahad Ghol first, Fahad Al-Musabbahi second, Ali Buhamad third and Saqer Al-Kandari fourth. As for women Arabi’s Basmalah Al-Shami won first place, Ayesha Al-Methen second, Sarah Al-Ali third and Dunya Jumaa fourth both from Salwa club.
