KUWAIT: Kuwait Sports Club volleyball team were crowned champion of the 56th edition of the local federation’s cup championship for the 2022-2023 season after they defeated Qadisiya 3-0 in the final match. Kuwait won 28/26 25/22 27/25. Kuwait has won this championship 18 times, Qadisiya 17, Kazma 13, Arabi 7 and Jahra once.

Kuwait Bowling Club organized its Ramadan championship under the patronage of Chairman Sheikh Talal Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, with 100 players of both genders participating. Mohammad Abdullah won the open category, followed by Hassan Qasem in second place and Mustafa Al-Mousawi in third. Meanwhile, in the under-20 category, Nasser Al-Hajras won first place, Abdelrazaq Mohammad second and Hassan Qasem third. In the women’s category, Niveen Wasel won first place, Jean Wawi second and Liza Khanifa third.

Kuwait Tomooh Disabled Sports Club held its annual Ramdhan ghabqa for club employees in the presence of the chairman and board members of the club and Kuwait Special Olympics. Chairman of Tomooh Club Jassem Al-Nouri thanked the previous board and appreciated their efforts in placing solid foundations for a promising sports entity that was able to create an outstanding nucleus of players in all games and made many achievements in regional and international arenas. Nouri thanked all supporters of the club.
