Local wheelchair basketball tourney to conclude today

KUWAIT: The local wheelchair basketball tournament, organized by the Handicapped Sports Club will come to a conclusion today as the third day of the tournament resulted in Aboudka team beating Tahreer by the score of 54-45 and the Lakers defeated the Olympic by the score 63-48.

KHSC Secretary General Abdallah Al-Azmi said he was pleased with the tournament which proved to be a good preparation for upcoming events abroad, as the teams who participated include several national team players.

He said KHSC board members are happy with the turnout, which shows a good interest in the club's activities and is being supported by them.

He concluded by thanking all those who made the tournament possible adding that there will be many events to come as part of the club's sports season.
