KUWAIT: Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan is honored during the event.

KUWAIT: With the presence of Qatar's minister of commerce and industry Ali Bin Ahmad Al-Kawari and his Kuwaiti counterpart Khaled Al-Roudhan, Qatar Chamber held a special ceremony to honor the sponsors of 'Made in Qatar 2020' expo recently held in Kuwait. The ceremony was also attended by Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassem Al Thani and the deputy chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdul Wahab Mohammad Al-Wazzan.

Speaking on the occasion, Qatar Chamber Director Saleh Bin Hamad Al-Sharqi stressed the Qatar Chamber's first exhibition was held in Kuwait coinciding with Kuwait's national celebrations, "which is a special occasion for us, and upon which we extend our heartiest congratulations to Kuwait, it's leadership and people, wishing them all happiness and prosperity."

Sharqi then invited Kawari and Al Thani to the podium to hand accolades to the honorees and sponsors starting with Roudhan on behalf of the exhibition's patron His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

Honorees also included Abdul Aziz Bin Nasser Al Khalifa, CEO of Qatar Development Bank; as the expo's strategic partner, the head of Qatar Petroleum's Public Relations Department Rashid Hamad Subaih, QNB Corporate Business Manager Khaled Ahmad Al-Saadah, Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company CEO Abdurrahman Al-Ansari, Baldna Company's Marketing Manager Marwan Dimas, Ooredoo Kuwait CEO Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Thani and Kuwait's daily Al-Jarida's Editor-in-Chief Abdullah Bin Ghanem Al-Mohanadi.
