KUWAIT: A domestic helper who had differences with her sponsor found out that she will be sent back home, so she locked herself inside the bathroom and refused to come out. The sponsor called police after he failed to convince the maid to unlock the door. Police arrived to the scene and broke the door open, then placed the maid under arrest on charges of attempted suicide after she reportedly tried to kill herself inside the bathroom.

An Indian woman committed suicide by hanging inside the psychiatric hospital, according to police. The woman had been admitted to the hospital by her employer, a cleaning company which claimed that she exhibited unstable behavior. A case was filed for further investigations.
