KUWAIT: Residency detectives arrested a citizen for swindling and forging visas for expats. Tips were received about a citizen swindling expats by forging entry visas. He created replicas for the visas and made look identical to the authentic documents, then charged expats money in exchange for them. The suspect confessed to issuing 25 forged entry visas using forged seals and signatures. He was sent to concerned authorities.

Traffic campaigns

The traffic department carried out several campaigns in all Kuwaiti governorates from April 15 to April 22, resulting in issuing 33,985 citations, 566 vehicles and 5 motorcycles were impounded, 46 persons detained while two expats were sent for deportation.

Crackdown

Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality branch carried out a campaign to remove unlicensed signs in residential areas in cooperation with the voluntary team 'Enough Damage.' Head of the team Habeeb Al-Tamimi thanked Kuwait Municipality officials for facilitating their work.

Exercise

The coastguard will carry out a live ammunition exercise on Qarouh and Umm Al-Maradem islands from Sunday, April 30 until May 2, according to a statement from the Interior Ministry. It asked seafarers to stay away from the training zone between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm.
